Join us as we start our month-long celebration, launching with a special family-style dinner. Mägo will be partnering with La Cocina entrepreneurs - Xula serving their Guatemalan cuisine and Suyos serving Peruvian dessert. The dinner is open seating and your ticket will include a 3-course meal and there will be beverages available for purchase. We are excited to kick off our Latin American Heritage month with La Cocina, nonprofit working to solve problems of equity in business ownership for women, immigrants, and people of color. A portion of the meal's revenue will go directly back to La Cocina to help with their continued goal to create a community of food entrepreneurs working not only for their own success but for the benefit of their families, neighbors, and the generations to come.
Menu for the evening:
1st Course- Xula: Rellenitos with plantain, black bean paste and cinnamon
2nd Course- Mago: Slow cooked beef in adobo, aji salsa made from stone fruits, burnt onions and tomatillos. Crispy yuca and a stew of summer peppers and guasca (Vegetarian option avaialable)
3rd Course- Suyos: Purple corn granita in the style of chicha morada
