Midsummer Night's Dinner for Writers

Join Sarah Kobrinsky, former Poet Laureate of Emeryville, for a multi-sensory writing workshop for the solstice inspired by the flavors of Chef Mark Liberman. Through guided prompts, we will write in response to a delicious multi course dinner. Gathered in the outdoor garden, our senses ignited, we will tap into our memories and imaginations. Everyone from seasoned scribes to total newbies welcome. Participants should bring a notebook and a healthy appetite.
About the host: Sarah Kobrinsky is the former Poet Laureate of Emeryville, CA. She is the author of Nighttime on the Other Side of Everything (New Rivers Press). She was born in Canada, raised in North Dakota, seasoned in England, and tempered in California. Sarah and her husband have a handmade dinnerware company called Jered's Pottery, where she hosts regular literary workshops and readings. She is also a folk dancer, a martial artist, and an aspiring polyglot.
