Latin American Heritage Kick-Off with La Cocina - Sept. 14

Join us as we start our month-long celebration, launching with a special family-style dinner.

Mägo will be partnering with La Cocina entrepreneurs - Xula serving their Guatemalan cuisine and Suyos serving Peruvian dessert.

The dinner is open seating and your ticket will include a 3-course meal. We are excited to kick off our Latin American Heritage month with La Cocina, nonprofit working to solve problems of equity in business ownership for women, immigrants, and people of color. A portion of the meal's revenue will go directly back to La Cocina to help with their continued goal to create a community of food entrepreneurs working not only for their own success but for the benefit of their families, neighbors, and the generations to come.

Tickets are good for open entry starting at 4:00pm to 6:30pm, you can arrive anytime between those times.

Menu for the evening:

1st Course- Xula:  Rellenitos with plantain, black bean paste and cinnamon

2nd Course- Mago: Slow cooked beef in adobo, salsa made from stone fruits and burnt onions. Crispy yuca and a stew of summer peppers. (Vegetarian option available)

3rd Course- Suyos: Purple corn granita in the style of chicha morada

- Dinner will be served in our dining room and backyard patio, with open seating.

- We will be offering house cocktails and our full beverage menu, available for purchase.

- Kid's tickets (12 and under) are $15 each and available as an add on during check out.
